Through Georgia’s Eyes

By Rachel Rodriguez

Published by Henry Holt and Company 2006

This biographical sketch of Georgia O’Keefe, famous American artist, is itself a poetic and artistic look at how O’Keefe viewed the world.  She was drawn to the outdoors and the shapes and colors she saw there.  Eventually she moved to the desert to work, and to this day we are moved by her artistry.

A great beginning to a look at biographies, or a look at a particular artist for an art class.
