As a small child, Jane Goodall had a stuffed chimpanzee named Jubilee, and she took him everywhere with her.  She also loved spending time outside.  She dreamed of being like Jane in Tarzan of the Apes, who lived in the jungles of Africa.  As she grew up she continued to pursue her dream.  We all know Jane Goodall’s legacy of speaking out for the animals who live there, particularly the chimpanzees.

Great biographical sketch of Jane Goodall’s childhood to introduce a research project or a biology project on primates.
