Adapted from Aesop’s Fairy tale, this wordless picture book tells the story of a lion who captures a mouse, and though he is much larger and stronger and could easily kill the mouse, the lion lets it go. The mouse doesn’t forget the kindness, and when the lion is captured in a net, the mouse gnaws the ropes to set him free.
A great adaptation to use when teaching about fables and fairy tales in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades.
