This beautiful book follows a group of townspeople at the lake for the day, and then into the rainy afternoon, while narrating how the people all over the world are more alike than different. By the end of the book, the narration concludes that “All the world is you and me.”
The illustrations are amazing, and the slow progression of the perspective as the story unfolds is beautiful to behold. Honestly, though the message is wonderful and the illustrations sublime, I don’t know if there is much for a curricular connection here.
