Two children go on vacation with their family. Before their vacation starts, their mother gives them each a camera with which to record their adventures. When the vacation is over, they realize that the pictures do not do justice to the experiences they had, but instead they will keep their memories where they are indelible: in their hearts and minds.
This book has enough clues that students can figure out where the story is taking place. This is a great text for students and teachers working with social and geographical context to place a story in a time and place.
